Healthy People 2020


Healthy People 2020 (HP2020) is a set of goals and objectives with goals from 10 years to guide national efforts to promote health and disease prevention to improve the health of all Americans. HP2020 HP2010 expanded on, with about 600 targets organized into 42 topics. Office of Health Statistics and Research Department provides statistics to help monitor the progress of some of these objectives in the state and county, where data are available. As data are available, several objectives will be added to the reports below. Please visit the national Healthy People web site for more information on the history and current state of Healthy People 2020.

Note that healthy people 2020 Healthy People 2010 replaces and, therefore, there are many changes in objectives and targets.

These are the statistics produced by Healthy People 2010. Note that Healthy People 2010 has been archived. The statistics were accurate and current when produced, but is no longer maintained and can now be overcome.

The Healthy People 2010 - Final exam Pennsylvania shows the progress towards achieving the 2010 targets for the purposes for which data were available Pennsylvania. Note that this review is based on the report HP2010 to archiving level.

Percentages are calculated and displayed for the BRFSS sample data when the sample size was less than 50 or the portion of the sample being represented was greater than or equal to 50, but the percentage was calculated considered statistically reliable. Unknown were excluded from the calculations unless otherwise noted. Data are for residents, unless otherwise indicated.
